Abiquiu workshop 2016 Oct. 17 – 21
So Much More
We will explore ways to use personal symbols to allow figurative works to have meaning and metaphor.
We will construct the head and the torso using handbuilding techniques.
The goal is to allow the spirit of the artist to connect with the form.
We will treat the surface with a combination of engobes, underglazes, and oxides.
The fee for the workshop is $650.00 plus sales tax (6.5%)
This includes the tuition, 25 pounds of red sculpture clay, surface treatment, firings and three lunches at the studio.
Lunches are a combination of Northern New Mexican food and healthy salads.
If you have a guest eating lunch with us, please notify me before the workshop.
A daily lunch fee of $10.00 will be charged for each guest.
If flying into Albuquerque, you can get a rental car or can take the Sandia Shuttle to Santa Fe and then get a rental car.
